Kalpana Eklavya Vidyalayam is going to be a unique school to impart value based high quality education to the aspiring children of rural areas and small towns. For this purpose, we are looking for teaching professionals who are committed to this profession. The school is being set up at Parnawan village of Nalanda district of Bihar and will start its first session from the academic year 2024-25.
Our teachers should have a deep and broad understanding of what they teach, whom they teach and how students learn because what teachers know and care about makes a difference to student learning. We expect our teachers:
We will be expecting teachers to collaborate and work in a team with parents and other stakeholders of the school. They should plan and monitor the attainment of goals on continual basis. Not the least, students are unlikely to become lifelong learners if they don’t see their teachers as active lifelong learners, willing to extend their horizon and question the established wisdom of their times.
Our teachers should act as role models. We expect them to take genuine interest in students’ welfare and future and provide emotional support when the student needs it. We would be designing a work organization and support culture that nurtures these qualities of teachers that will go a long way towards ensuring that every student succeeds, which is the primary goal of our school.
Teachers joining our school will have ample opportunities for self-improvement and to learn about the latest innovations and advances in the teaching profession. We will ensure their career growth in terms of tenure, promotions, annual salary increment, training etc.
Teachers doing outstanding work will be recognized and incentivized. Those who have demonstrated leadership and management skills would be trained over time to take on academic leadership positions in our school. They will be given training in reputed institutes or schools in India or abroad on understanding the teaching practices or pedagogy.
