The assessment process of our school will be more regular, comprehensive, and formative. It will be more competencies-based criterion referenced tests with a view to promote learning and mental development of students. It will test a higher order of skills such as analysis, critical thinking, and conceptual clarity.
The progress card will be a holistic, 360-degree, multidimensional report that reflects in detail the progress as well as the uniqueness of each child in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. It will include self-assessment and peer assessment and progress of the child in project based and inquiry-based learning, quizzes, role plays, group work etc., along with teacher assessment.
The assessment process will involve parents in their children’s holistic education and development and the progress card would provide valuable information for them on how to support the children in and out of the classroom. The assessment process will provide students with valuable information on their strengths, area of interest and needed areas of focus and thereby help them make optimal & effective career choices.
Students will take school examinations in Class 3, Class 5 and Class 8. These examinations will test the achievement of students in basic learning outcome, through assessment of core concept and knowledge from curricula, along with relevant higher order skills and application of knowledge in real life solution.
