Saturday will be a special day and will have separate school timing. Attendance on Saturday shall be compulsory for the students of class 1 onwards.
The day shall be full of activities for the students. These activities will be conducted under the following programs.
Sports and Yoga will form an integral part of the school academic program. It plays a very important role in keeping the students physically and mentally fit and healthy. Unless our students are physically and mentally and emotionally healthy, they will not be able to harness full scale benefit of our school educational ecosystem.
Our school will have well-defined outdoor or classroom sessions on sports and yoga. Participation in sports and yoga sessions will be compulsory and will be part of our academic curriculum. The performance of the students in these activities will be assessed on a regular and continuous basis.
It is expected that each student spends at least 2 hours daily on sports and yoga related activities in school premises or outside. This will help them to lead a healthy, happy, and purposeful life. The curriculum on sports and yoga will be designed keeping in view the overall growth of the students.
It will be reviewed periodically and will be flexible enough to allow the students to plan their activities keeping in view their other commitments inside or outside the classroom.
Students at middle school stage onwards will have to take up Environmental, Social and Educational Projects. These will be group projects/assignment wherein students have to spend 2-3 hours in a week outside school on the project work. Broad areas of these projects could be as follows.
