Our School will follow three language formula as envisaged in the NEP 2020. Hindi, Sanskrit and English will be taught under three language formula. These three languages shall be offered at all stages of the schooling. Sanskrit, being a classical Indian Language, shall be taught in ways that are interesting and experiential as well as contemporarily relevant. Sanskrit should be taught through Sanskrit using Sanskrit textbooks written in Simple Standard Sanskrit.
Apart from the above certain foreign language viz. Spanish, German, French, Japanese etc. will be offered from Preparatory or Middle School stage based on the decision taken by School Management Committee.
Mathematics and computational thinking will be given greater emphasis at all levels of schooling. Activities involving coding will be introduced from Middle school level. Going forward, it can be introduced from the preparatory stage keeping in view the interest of the students.
Contemporary subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Design Thinking, Holistic Health, Organic Living, Environmental Education etc. will be undertaken at relevant stages.
Science and humanity subjects will be taught in a more focused manner with deep understanding from middle school stage.
Fun courses in vocational crafts such as carpentry, electric work, gardening, pottery making etc. shall be compulsory for students at Middle school stage. Vocational courses shall also be made available through online mode.
An engaging course on Indian Knowledge System will be made available to students at Secondary School level as elective whereas elements of Indian Knowledge System will be incorporated in various subjects throughout the school curriculum wherever relevant.
Subject related to moral/ethical values shall be part of the curriculum at relevant stage of the school. This will help development of basic ethical reasoning, traditional Indian Values and all basic human and constitutional values such as Seva, ahimsa, Satya, sacrifice, tolerance, respect of elders, respect for environment, helpfulness, forgiveness etc. among children. They will have opportunities to read and learn from original stories of Panchatantra, Jataka, Hitopadesh and inspiring tales from Indian tradition.
Students, particularly in Secondary School, will be given increased flexibility and choice of subjects to students including subjects in arts and crafts, physical education & vocational skills so that they can design their own path and life plan.
There will be no hard separation among ‘curricular’, ‘extra-curricular’ or co-curricular among arts, humanities, and science or between vocational and academic stream.
